Who is this guy?
Good question. Quick and easy would be, Dan Lyne, however if you would like to know more please continue to read on.
My aim is to challenge the drudgery of modern life and show the “all too often” overlooked foundations of hope and joy. Therefore, my work is deeply coated with the soft breath of levity, joy, and life. Through the use of common items, idioms, and just plain beautiful mother nature, the work is meant to shake, rattle, and roll the perceptions of viewers towards a higher and better level.
Strongly rooted in the grounds of humility and hunger, my creative process is one that allows any door to be opened and let light in. From the deep wells of books, to the gentle whisper of the forest leaves, to the three-year-old sensei of creative thought, inspiration and education are always welcomed and eagerly received. The result is a designer who covets the opportunity to learn, share, and experience a new creative process with each client, breaking new grounds, and planting the seeds of relationships for the future growth of all.
Originally hailing from central Pennsylvania, my work has been deeply shaped by the rural yet artistic upbringing I was given. The beauty of the outdoors, the freedom of the wind, the breath of the stream, and the laughter of rocking chairs has refueled my life, time and time again. As one who is so small in this world; humility, hope, joy, and love are characteristics that will always be invested and implemented into each of my projects. As an outdoorsman who likes to rattle the cages of comfort and perception with deep and creative thoughts, ideas, and stories, I’ll never pass on the opportunity to spark a good belly laugh with the warm campfires of joy and creativity.
